Glossy Box

Glossybox Mar ’16

Each month I thought it would be nice to do a post on what I received in my Glossy box and give a little review on some of the products, what I liked and didn’t like.

For those of you who are aware or don’t know about Glossy box, let me explain. Glossy box is a monthly subscription box in which you get  a luxury beribboned box filled with carefully curated selection of 5 makeup, hair and skin care must haves. The content in the box is worth at least Β£44 and only cost Β£10 +p&p each month.

The first product I received this month was a make-up brush by Luxie, the large angled face brush, 504.

This is what Glossy Box said about the product:

” This angled brush is specially cut to hug the curves and contours of your face,, making it perfect for all your contouring, highlighting and strobing needs. Simply pat it into your cheekbones, down your nose and along the jawline for a beautifully sculpted face.”

Full size – Β£10.42

I was so happy when I saw I received a Luxie brush. I have seen them on YouTube and on other blogs and have wanted to try them. This brush is the large angled brush and I use it for contouring/bronzer. It is an amazing brush and I am 100% going to purchase more of them. I love the colour of the brush too.
The second product I received this month was by Olay and it is the Regenerist, Luminous skin tone perfecting cream.

This is what Glossy Box said about the product:

“Working to fade the look of discolouration and dark spots, this clever cream goes above and beyond evening out your skin tone. How? It hydrates, exfoliates and smooths the skin to leave you with a healthy, glowing complexion. Suitable for all skin types, you can apply it to a cleansed skin both morning and evening.”

Full size- Β£29.99

I have heard and seen Olay in the shops before and never tried any of their products. The first time I applied this cream I fell in love and wanted to repurchase it. It made my skin feel so soft and smooth, made it feel hydrated and gave a illuminated look to the skin as well. I have already gone out and brought the full size of this product as well as a couple of other Olay items.
The third product I received is a face serum by Hey Honey.

This is what Glossy Box said about the product:

” Infused with honey and propolis (two of nature’s most potent antiseptics and antibacterial ingredients made by bees), this light and luxurious serum replenishes and protects the skin, leaving you with a glowing complexion day after day.”

Full size- Β£28.81

I love a good serum. I get very dry skin around my nose and on my cheeks and this honey serum felt so good on my skin. I used this at night and slept with it on so it would soak into the skin. It is very oily so may not be good for someone who already has a oily skin. I loved this product.
The fourth product I received is by -417. It is their catharsis vitamin mineral shampoo and conditioner.

This is what Glossy Box said about the product:

” The combination of dead sea moisture balancing minerals, energising vitamins and essential oils in this duo ensure your hair is left super gleaming, hydrated and lustrous. Apply the shampoo to wet hair and rinse, then apply the conditioner and leave on for 5 minutes.”

Full size- Β£16.89

This shampoo and conditioner felt so good and made my hair feel amazing. It made it look shiny, feel soft and smell amazing. It made my hair feel thicker after I used it and look more healthy. It is a good product and the price isn’t bad too, I will be repurchasing it once it is all gone.
The final product I received this month is by Collection and it is their speedy highlighter.

This is what Glossy Box said about the product:

” Fancy drawing n the cheekbones of your dreams? Well, this crayon delivers makeup artistry-worthy results in a few simple swipes. Simply glide across the tops of your cheekbones, brow bones and above the cupid’s bow and gently blend using your fingertips or your Luxie brush.”

Full size- Β£3.99

Β£2.99 on selected COLLECTION favourites at from 9th March- 5th April 2016.

I love Collection makeup, it is affordable and good quality makeup. This highlighter looks amazing on top of my cheekbones and a little on the my brow bone. It is so good and only for Β£3.99, I don’t think you can go wrong with anything that price. It feels really creamy and to me is the same colour pay off as Benefit High beam.
